the range

The Bush Hill Cheese range includes soft, semi-hard and hard cheeses and yogurts.

Our products are fashioned from the raw A2 milk produced by our herd of grass-fed Jersey cows which graze on pastures of rye grass on our farm, Underbush, in the Underbush Valley in Creighton, KZN. No stabilizers are added, and none of the goodness is removed from the milk ensuring a creamy, decadent, and delicious range of cheeses and yogurts.

Bush Hill Feta Cheese

A semi-soft cheese made by hand, using traditional ancient Greek methods, from the raw milk produced by our herd of grass-fed Jersey cows.

Cream Cheese

Our cream cheese is hand-made and hung in muslin cloths to develop a thick, creamy consistency with a slight tang using the raw Jersey milk produced by our herd of grass-fed cows.
Bush Hill Cheese Camembert

Camembert

Hand-crafted from grass-fed jersey cow’s milk to create a creamy, ivory-coloured interior and downy-white exterior. This every day cheese has a gentle, delicious texture that melts in your mouth

Brie

Soft and buttery, with a suggestion of “nuttiness” thanks to the full-bodied and creamy A2 Jersey cow milk from which it is produced.

A thick and creamy cream cheese made from the A2 raw milk of our grass-fed jersey cows to which fiery and feisty Jalapeño peppers are added!
Bush Hill Pepperdew Cream Cheese Dip

Pepperdew Cream Cheese Dip

A thick and creamy cream cheese made from the A2 raw milk of grass-fed jersey cows to which flavourful, and slightly sweet, Pepperdews are added.

Pickled Onion Cream Cheese Dip

A thick and creamy cream cheese made from the A2 raw milk of grass-fed jersey cows to which spicy and flavour-packed pickled onions are added. 

Aged Cheddar

A 4-month aging process results in a delicate hard cheese with a rich nutty flavour.

Vacchino Romano

An Italian-style cheese made similarly to Parmesan with delicate and buttery overtones. This truly delicious hard cheese can be eaten on a cheese board or frozen and used as you would Parmesan.

Our Greek yogurt is handmade according to ancient and traditional Greek methods and hung in muslin cloths to ensure a smooth, creamy and decadent yogurt that is a balanced whole food.

Bush Hill Greek Yogurt

Lactose Free Greek Yogurt

Our Lactose Free Greek yogurt is handmade according to ancient and traditional Greek methods but to it the enzyme, lactase, is added to produce a truly creamy and decadent yogurt that is safe for lactose-intolerant people to consume. Lactose intolerant people lack the enzyme required to break down the sugar (lactose) thereby causing digestion issues. Our Lactose Free Greek yogurt is easy to digest and gentle on the stomach. The A2 Jersey milk which we use, is also less harmful to lactose-intolerant tummies.
Bush Hill Halloumi Cheese

Halloumi

A semi-hard cheese known for its tangy taste and firm, chewy texture. Delicious fried and enjoyed with a pinch of salt and squeeze of lemon.
